29th November to 20th December - a Wartime Christmas - see  what the food rations looked like and lots more .....


Sunday 7th December - Christmas Quiz and Bingo. All welcome, singles or teams. Bring your own drinks and nibbles. Tickets are £7 for Friends or £8 available from the Museum or contact welcome@rayleightownmuseum.org

Wednesday, 7th January  to Saturday, 7th February  -  Our biggest ever Book Sale, running for all of January. Visit us and find a bargain. 


Sunday, 8th February  -  Fish & Chips Lunch with Entertainment and a Talk by Alan Clark.at the WI Hall Rayleigh.


Wednesday, 11th February  to  Saturday, 28th March  -  Medieval Exhibition 


Sunday, 8th March - Rayleigh's Windmills and My Family and The Bath Chair Murder with a chance to handle a replica of the bomb used. A talk by Trevor Rand.


Wednesday, 1st April  to  Saturday, 25th April - Titanic Exhibition


Sunday, 19th April  -  RMS Titanic Event at the Mill Arts & Events Centre, Bellingham Road

                                        Tickets  go on Sale  on 1st December see Titanic Event


Sunday, 14th June - Rayleigh Trinity Fair. The Museum will be open, and our usual gazebo will be in the High Street. 


June/July - Escape Room Adventure - to be confirmed


Sunday, 26th July - British Fairies - Stories and Legends. Enjoy fairy stories and legends from across the British Isles and meet some of the fairies who inhabit the world. A talk by Jane Piper


Sunday, 1st November - "Essex Myths and Legends." A talk by Jane Piper and Laura Adkins


November - Remembrance Exhibition 


November/December - "A Tudor Christmas"
